Here's day 1 of my one month challenge to make outfits with two tops from Dresslily. So I will be posting Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday for the Monthly Challenge. It's going to be hard because the tops are hard to pair with some items. I will still have my posts with actual photo shoot stuff, and these will be me with by the wall. So I hope you don't get sick of them, because I will try, then after this month I will be doing regular posts with my photographer, right now those will be on Monday & Friday and Wednesday will be my "outfit layout ones"
Anyways, this top is a little to long for me, so when I wear pants or leggings my legs look really short so I will be using just skirts with this top. I actually made it into a romper when I finished doing all these photo's and I will have a post on how to make a tunic into a romper! :)
I know I didn't put tons of photo's but I think you can see the outfit pretty well so, I will be doing these types! :)
Oh boy, when I took these it was in April beginning of May-ish! It was still pretty cold when we took these pretty photo's, but a beatufiul day with the crazy wind. ...
Did you have a great weekend?! I've been sick, so not so much, I hope I can get this cold away before my next photo shoot so I don't look all funny. It's back to work and school today, Friday my work had the day off so it was nice to have a break, it seemed like it took forever to get to friday though! Anyways, lets get to the outfit not my sickness, I really didn't think this would work out as a outfit, but it did! Maybe it's because the photographer is great with what he does. I'm obsessed with scarves, I probably own way too many, but it's winter after all so scarves are always a must in my wardrobe. The scarf is from DownEast Basics. I'm obsessed with the polka dot skirt if you haven't noticed from some older posts, it's so comfy and it was only 9 dollars at forever 21, who couldn't give up on that. I think they still have it in the store, but they have the grey one online, but you could probably ebay it or go to the store and see if they have it. You could probably do this outfit for the summer look with a short sleeve striped top and just put some sandals and no tights for this look, I might actually do that when it's warmer, or soon if it's not cold and windy. I love these booties that deb shops sent me! I'm so obsessed with them, I wear them everywhere that I can, and most people in my classes are like those are so cute!!! Wow, I had so much fun at this shoot as you can tell by my facial expressions. I really thought this outfit was exciting with the grey and black together dont you?! This sweater is probably the most warmest sweater I own since it has another layer underneath for some odd reason. I was looking for a polka dot sweater like the ones from jcrew but didn't want to spend like 75 dollars on a sweater, so I found this cute one at Forever 21. Lets talk about this fun skirt that was given to me by Persun Mall, I wore it on my Stripes and Extensions post, It's so fun you can wear it high waisted and then wear it normally, which is awesome. I'm obsessed with skirts or dresses, they are just so exciting to wear and I love how you can interchange different skirts and plus when summer hits you can wear dresses and skirts more often then in winter. Anyways, I hope you have a great weekend!!! Monday's post will be super exciting! :) I might not have a photo shoot this weekend, but I hope we do, I got some cute outfit's from two brands so I hope so, so I can show you guys. These photo's didn't come out right with the exposure, like those "long photo's" they came out all funny. Anyways, I'm obsessed with these polka dot pants, you can wear them with anything! Today's post is just a fun casual winter or fall look that you can wear around town, school, work or where ever you need to go. Like I said on my Monday's outfit, I loved these leaves, they were a perfect spot to do the photo's! This dress is just as fun as it gets. I love polka dot dresses, especially fit and flare ones! I added the cardigan for fall or winter wear, because in Utah It's soooo cold and it's always good to have a jacket or a heavy cardigan! The dress is fitted really well, wish it could be longer, but it's okay it works! :D Working on my final's!! Have a wonderful day!
Okay isn't this just the cutest layered look? I love it so much, because it's casual and nice looking to wear in an office, and at school and not have to worry so much if your not dressed right. I'm always an advocate for fun easy going clothing! I love this polka dot skirt, it fits with anything possible, even if it doesn't you can still pull it off!!! I love polka dots and chevron print scarfs together! Like my other post I did with chevron scarf and polka dot jeans!!! YEAH!!! So much fun, I hope you have a great week! I only have classes Monday! which is nice! Love it when teacher's have most of the week off, because sometimes it can get overwhelming well not really but it can if you take a million classes, but its only 2 weeks till the semester is over, thank god, I am still finishing up my Physician Assisted Suicide Research Argument paper, it's looking amazing, plus I have a really amazing friend that helps me with my peer review, because some people in classes always tell me "Iris, you did so great on the paper" and not give me anything that I did wrong, but this lady is just amazing at doing peer reviews! :D
