This ensemble is so dang cute as a comfortable stylish yet warm and trendy one. I love the details on the boots and the flare of the skirt. Iris has a great way of looking so great in all of her fashion looks.
Simply Black and White
I'm a real sucker for black and white. When it is dressy and casual I really love it. These boots just bring everything together and the scarf is perfection!

Isn't Iris great!? hey all, Now listen to this: I saw this scarf on Valentines Day when HM bought me that cool safety pin watch {seen HERE and HERE} and I considered getting it then but didn't! I was kicking myself all weekend and then realized on Tuesday, I needed to head back there, just to perhaps have the possible chance that it would still be there. My golly gosh-a-mia, it was!!! I couldn't believe it. They had two others on the shelf that were regular priced {seen HERE} and this one was still there, --- over the whole weekend? YES! It was ..meant to ...BE. lol
Here's the thing: One thing the 'bad' hospital did that was good, was to meet the American Cancer Society liaison, where she taught me how to wear scarves on my head for when the chemo makes my hair all fall out. Well, I thought this scarf is sort of the color of my hair. So yes, you'll see me wearing this scarf as 'my hair' in a few months {along with wigs and/or hats and/or whatever}. And ...if my hair doesn't fall out {some don't lose their hair} what the heck, all the better to have a wonderful, golden scarf ...for only ...$5! Whoa!
