My PRK (Lasik) 5 Day Recovery

I TOTALLY RECOMMEND GETTING PRK OR LASIK!!!

Lasik and PRK are sorta similar, Lasik they laser some of your cornea and leave a flap lasts about 3 days, PRK they laser off the whole cornea off and your recovery is 5 days with the bandage but after 1-2 months you get 20/20 vision.

My 5 days of my PRK surgery update
Day 1: the procedure was fast and easy. You can basically see but you gotta wear dark sunglasses (it's very bright), you have 3 antibiotics and put them in every 4 hours and eye drops every hour. Not really noticing anything besides it’s bright. But they said the 2nd till the 7th day you’ll be very blurry.

Day 2: I went to sleep early the night before because I head your eyes are in pain. I woke up at 430 am with so much pain in the eyes. It felt like I had acid in my eyes all day long. Had to take some pain meds to not feel the pain. Still light sensitive and could t really have my eyes open that day because of pain and the light.

Day 3: felt a little bit better no more pain but very light sensitive. I had to be in the dark all day and wear my dark sunglasses. Couldn’t really see very well but sorta if there’s not a lot of light.

Day 4 woke up a couple times at night because my eyes felt like my bandage contact was falling out and my eyes were super dried. Had to put eye drops and then at 430 am my antibiotics and other eye medicine I had still. I can basically see it’s kind of blurry when I’m looking at my phone or computer. I just wear my glasses outside and not in the house anymore. Yay!

Day 5: Woke up a couple times because the bandage in kept feeling like it was coming out so I had to use drops every hour. I can basically see. getting my bandage contact out today at 140. I got it out and now it’s blurry in a way, can see but I will update on my blog more.

  1. Yes, I really agree that the eye is an important part of the body. And it is also important to maintain his health. It's not too difficult just to keep it naturally will help. Wow this is so easy!
