Traveling around this world and sometimes I crave some adventure and sometimes just relaxation. I long for making new memories and seeing the different cultures where ever I go. Embarking on a journey that has many surprises and shocks.
I found some of the magic of a relaxing escape at the KoKo Resort in SavuSavu Fiji!
Part of a small, privately owned, KoKo Resort in SavuSavu Fiji was built on top of a beautiful mountain with love. The owner’s mind-blowing collection of Bali art and artifacts are housed exclusively in her gorgeous 270 degree's house.
For me, seeing this house and design is beautiful. I love how you can just go outside, relax and view the ocean from high up on top of a mountain.
The Room
The room at KoKo is unique, a pretty design inside and out. You will see outside views from the 270-degree panoramic view. From tall ceilings to an amazing bedroom you feel perfectly relaxed your whole time you are here.
Her house is decorated with unique artwork and artifacts from Bali. The owner is a Bali fan and apparently, everyone near Fiji ends up going there. You will get an oversized bed that feels so good to sleep on, a private infinity pool that looks like it goes over the ocean, garden of all the amazing fruit there and spectacular views of the jungle. Don't forget the panoramic sunset view!
Whichever you are going for, you can look forward to a complimentary welcome coconut drink and daily fresh tropical fruits, breakfast, dinner and flowers.
Dining Experiences
The resort offers an amazing Fijian experience. The resort has an amazing woman that cooks for you every day if you chose that option. Every time you eat you enjoy the food outside overlooking the views and of course eating her food.
Leisure Activities
If you ask the lady that works there, she will take you on a hike through a village to a beautiful waterfall. You can go snorkeling with her. She knows a lot of activities to do there if the town isn't closed down due to a funeral. You can go to a mud pool and relax and lots of hiking opportunities.
