Ahh Fiji, the city of relaxation and warm weather all year around. They run on Fiji Time!
While being in Fiji, there were tons of hotels to choose from, but most hotels are super expensive when you go there. It can be extremely overwhelming, but I got the chance to stay at the Marriott Resort Momi Bay resort. I stayed in the bungalow on the beach. They had ones over the water, but they were sold out and they didn't look like the ones in French Polynesia.
Getting There
There is a bit of distance between Nadi Airport and Marriott Resort Momi Bay resort. I would recommend getting a car because taxis are about $40-$80 USD if you want to take a taxi. The resort is about 1 hour away from Nadi Airport. So the cheapest way to get around is having your own car.
The Resort
This pretty resort by the coral reef is part of designed a collection of luxury resorts around the world, Marriott Resort Momi Bay resort was built with beauty. When you arrive, you will be greeted by Fijian people that are the nicest I've ever met.
For me, there’s nothing more beautiful than Fiji architecture and design. Being able to stay on a bungalow and having the ability to be right next to the beach is perfect. You can choose if you want a bungalow over the water or on the beach.
The Room
Every room in the Marriott is unique, from over the water bungalows to bungalows on the beach to poolside views with the ocean in the background.
Each decorated with unique artwork that has been handcrafted, the ceilings are high and beautiful, to the ocean views! My favorite part of this bungalow is the spectacular view, has a private balcony that you can relax on and just panoramic sunsets.
Whichever option you go for, you can look forward to complimentary drinks, fruit, and free breakfast!
Dining Experiences
The hotel offers amazing restaurant and dining experiences. Every time you go to eat you can enjoy a panoramic sunset if you choose to sit by the ocean view, you get the sense of Fijian food experience. You get a free breakfast and you can decide if you want to opt into the dinner.
I like that you included some details about travel travel peak. I find that time while traveling is full of such moments, and they’re rarely mentioned on social media.
